CBSE has released notification regarding new exam pattern for UGC NET examination 2018 and date for July 2018 examinations. In short notification released by CBSE on 8th Jan 2018 it has notified that UGC NET exam for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) and eligibility for Assistant Professor will be held on 8th July 2018 (Sunday).
Also examination scheme for the July 2018 exam is changed. First there used to be three papers for UGC NET examination, now there will be only two papers.
Paper 1 with 50 questions for 100 marks and paper 2 with 100 questions for 200 marks.
Paper 1 will check general aptitude of the students and paper 2 will be based on the subjects selected by the students.
